Grad/Fellowship Application Advice

I find great pleasure in being able to help others through their journey since I wouldn’t have been able to make it this far without all of the amazing help I’ve received. Whether from my research mentors teaching me technical and soft skills, or peers reviewing my fellowship and grad school applications, I would be remiss to act like I’ve done it all on my own.

I would be willing and excited to help mentor people that think I can provide them with what they need to get to the next stage. As of fall 2020, I’m currently mentoring six other students with personal and professional development, graduate school applications, and fellowship applications by using everything I learned when I was in that stage to help them make more guided decisions. I find great joy in helping others reach their highest potential and pushing themselves to make this world a better place.

If you think I’d be able to help you, please feel free to reach out and connect! If I happen to be too busy when you reach out, I’ll let you know (but I’m sure we can figure out something that works for both of us). In regard to reviewing fellowship applications and grad school applications, I enjoy helping and sharing my advice to write compelling statements. I prefer if the statements you share with me be close to what you consider to be your final version, instead of sending a first draft. I assume we'll go through several iterations together regardless, but it's typically more productive for both of us if it's not just your first draft/something you wouldn't consider submitting. I look forward to helping throughout this exciting stage of growth to reach the next stages in your career!
